What should I do if my Blackberry damaged by the water?
If your favorite Blackberry fell into a pot, fell into the toilet or bath, have a swim in the sea or lake. The first thing to do is to quickly get him out of the water off and disconnect the battery. If Blackberry fell into clean water, then the chances of reanimation are quite large, but if he bathed in salty or sweet liquid, then chances to damage the phone is increases.
So, wipe battery and put it in a dry place.

Do not leave the battery under direct sunlight and do not dry it hair dryer!

What to do with wet Blackberry?  There are two solutions to this problem. The first is to try to repair phone yourself (chances for salvation phone 50/50) and the second, is  to give phone in to  specialized service center where them will be engaged professionals.

If you are unable to deliver your phone to a service center within 2-5 hours.

Repair  Blackberry after water damage yourself:

1 Open the rear cover and remove the battery and sim card
2 Put the phone in a dry place for 1-2 days
3 Some recommend putting the phone in a container with substances that well absorb moisture
4 Does not turn on phone within 1-2 days
5 Does not dry your phone hair dryer, it can condense on a pair of liquid on the phone screen

Once again, it does not always help. Chance to restore yourself Blackberry after water damage is not very large and depends on many factors, the time that the phone held in a liquid, composition liquid, etc.

Why is it better to give Blackberry, damaged by the water, to a service center?

1 Specialists have extensive experience in repair of such damages
2 For such repairs used specialized equipment (ultrasound bath with a special liquid, which enable well  wash  phone to protect it from oxidation of the conductive tracks)

So if your Blackberry damaged by the  water , I recommend you disconnect the battery, and within 2-5 hours deliver it to the service center.
I draw your attention that the warranty does not cover damage resulting from water.

As I said, self-repair may not always be help. You hurried and not fully dried your phone and even turned it in charge. Most likely the remaining moisture in the phone locked the contact track. Disconnect the battery and bring your phone to service center.
